The Division of Institutional Archives and Special Collections of Montgomery’s Pioneer Voting Rights Activists is housed in the Library. The purpose of the Archives is to preserve institutional records and the history and legacy of Montgomery’s Voting Rights Movement for retrieval by the College’s personnel, students, researchers, scholars and the general public. The Archives also conducts and reposits visual and aural interviews of pioneer voting rights activists. The Archives produces programs and multi-media presentations for institutional and public outreach.

Our commitment is to public access of open Institutional records and Special Collections. We will provide competent and knowledgeable personnel to advise you about the College’s finding aids and resources. We will treat all patrons with courtesy and respect.
